The college has already enrolled 279 students, and faculty 13 members work in the college currently. Dr. JP Naik Mahavidyalaya is teaching two undergraduate courses while striving to offer qualitative education.
Dr. JP Naik Mahavidyalaya boasts of facilities essential in creating conducive learning, teaching and research facilities. Right at the centre of the academic resources is the college library including files of Marathi, Hindi and English dictionaries besides Encyclopedia Britannica. There is also a wealth of reference books and other unique publications relevant to the courses being taught L432 and staff and students are all encouraged to read beyond the syllabi. To students who have devised interest in sports and exercises, the college has a well-equipped gym to ensure students exercise and keep fit as they study. This facility is fairly large and it is meant for different sporting events including running, long jump, high jump, javelin, discus and shot put. Other balls games such as kho-kho, kabaddi and cricket are also sought to be played by the students in order to develop the sprit of team and competition.
Dr. JP Naik Mahavidyalaya offers two full-time undergraduate programmes: The two most important Degrees as recognized by the Universities are Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com). These two programmes take three years of study after which a student acquires adequate knowledge in his or her chosen discipline. It offers two programmes and the total admission capacity is 279 with an aim of providing adequate proportion of student enrollment to teaching staff to enhance learning.
