Duraimurugan College of Education in Vellore was started in the year 2007 as a teacher training college placed in Tamil Nadu of India. Located on a piece of land measuring 10 acres, this co –educational institute nurtures the future of educators. Affiliated with a university, it has to follow strict of academic standard because it is part of a larger institution. The college has been recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) affirming its adherence to producing quality teachers. Duraimurugan College of Education has 71 students and teaches 16 members of faculty so it is a rather small college providing individual approach and favourable student-teacher ratio.
