DVS polytechnic College starting its journey in the year of 1943 is one of the oldest Technical institution situated in Shivamogga, Karnataka, state of India. This affiliated College accredited from All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, has been carving out technical talent for over seventy-one years now. Located at Sir M V Road Basaveshwara Circle Bangalore, the college provides the student with three diploma programmes in engineering fields. DVS Polytechnic has total student enrolment capacity of 507 and having the strength of 16 faculties.

The college has numerous resources that are useful in improving the learning process of students in the college.
