About EK Nayanar Memorial Model Polytechnic College, Kalliasseri
It is one of the premature technical institutions of the state, located at Kalliasseri in Kannur district which begins its journey in the academic year 1997-98 as a tribute to the former chief minister of Kerala, K.M. This affiliated college, recognised by AICTE a statutory body of India the All India Council for Technical Education provides courses in diploma degree in various disciplines of engineering. Nambo pane 6 dedicated professionals as its faculty strength, the college has endeavored to produce quality technical engineers.
Such basic amenities are available in the college to cater for the needs of the students in their courses. A sound library is a knowledge center that will offer the many needed technical texts to the students. Furthermore, the institute provides departmental laboratories through which students get to practice intact with the belief of the course they are undertaking. These addresses hold a strategic position in improving the general learning environment while at the same time developing the students for their prospective profession in the technical line.

College Infrastructure
College have all the necessary infrastructure facilities and equipments.But not have that much area for this and also not every equipments are new Class rooms are not air conditioned. Library is ok feeling.living spaces and surroundings are cleaned and hygiene
