Elizabeth College of Engineering and Technology, Annamangalam, Tamil Nadu was started in 2013 and it has come as a lighthouse in the technical education field. This 11.78 acre co-educational institution is established in the Perambalur district for higher education. The college has four courses functional in the engineering discipline to cater to the needs of a diverse discipline. However, the college employs 58 faculties of dedicated professionals and currently, only 11 students enhance the college’s learning environment by offering a sense of intimacy. 

The college’s amenities, including instructional facilities, embrace several modern amenities meant to share this present-day experience. The library acts as a resource centre with books, national and international journals, educational CDs and DVDs of various fields of engineering. To provide practical experiences, well-facilitated laboratories and workshops are as per AICTE norms and curriculum for the university, with regular upgrades based on sector standards. The college has hostels for boys and girls and provides hygienic food, purified drinking water, and a timetable for studies.

Elizabeth College of Engineering and Technology offers four full-time B.Tech programmes. Electronics and Communication Engineering; Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. This way the curriculum of every programme will lay the basis for its students to have a firm understanding of the area of specialisation to effectively manoeuvre within the current technological world. This fact speaks volumes about the quality of education in the college since most of the courses offered entail practical training and industry related skills.

Elizabeth College of Engineering and Technology has put a lot of efforts in developing an admissions process that is easy and student friendly. Despite the lack of clear information on this issue the admission process, it is understood that the engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu use the strengths derived from the entrance tests. Currently, the college admits student through rank obtained in TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions), which is based on Percentage scored in board exams in 12th standard.
