Faculty of Law, Banaras Hindu University has a 100 years old history in offering professional undergraduate and postgraduate graduate programmes in the wide areas of legal studies. Located in the sacred city of Varanasi, Banaras Hindu University is a highly esteemed educational institution with global recognition. In close collaboration with notable figures such as Dr. Annie Besant, who saw it as the University of India, Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya, the great nationalist leader, built this imaginative and inventive university in 1916. The B.H.U. Act of 1915, a piece of parliamentary legislation, founded Banaras Hindu University.
The Law School, Banaras Hindu University has throughout the years made valuable contributions to the legal education in the country and has been continuously holding a reputation for educational excellence and academic rigour. College Infrastructure
College has its own library, 2 lawns with lush green beauty, well off infrastructure and spacious classrooms. It has wifi facicility available 24×7. College has smart classrooms and a great teacher facility.

Hi Aspirant!
Benares Hindu University does not offer LLB honours course, but it definitely offers the BA LLB (honours) course, which is of five years duration. Each year of this course is divided into 2 semesters, which means in total there are 10 semesters and also the seat intake for this course is 120.
>> According to the eligibility criteria, the candidate must have completed ten 12th class from a recognized board and also those who have completed the 12th class from any Open University will not be able to get into this course. The candidate must have at least 50% in 12th class.
>> Other than this, there is an entrance exam conducted by the university BHU Under-graduate Entrance Test (U.E.T.) , which a candidate must clear to get the admission in the BA LLB course.
>> admission is done on the basis of merit in the entrance examination.

the application form of banaras hindu university LLB was out from january 30, 2020 and the last date to submit the same is 12 march 2020 , BHU LLB 2020 is scheduled to be held in between august 16-31 2020

CLAT exam is yet to take place in August but colleges have started their registration processes for example NLU ,IP university ,Delhi University and others if you wish to take admission through CLAT exam you can register on their official sites also there are some colleges that take admission by conducting their own examination like symbiosis their registration is over now .
