Fatima Michael College of Engineering and Technology, (FMCET) is one of the top educational institute started in the year of 2009 in Madurai, Tamil Nadu. Located across a vast area of 16 acres of land FMCET focuses on the engineering and management education. It is an affiliated college to Anna University and Sect- A certified by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). With a student enrolment of 549 and faculty of 82, FMCET motivates young and potential engineers and managers through favorable teaching conditions. 

Thus, facilities of FMCET are magnificent and developed with intention to enrich the learning process of the students. The college possesses a centrally air-conditioned library with an area of 10,000 sq ft including more than 8000 books, national & international journals & magazine subscriptions. It also comprises of a digital library as a way of respecting the institutions policy on technological development. For the lovers of sports and games, the institute has a fine sports complex consisting of football ground, cricket ground, volley ball court, indoor games etc. To support this process the campus has been provided with internet connection of 8 MBPS so that students can be accorded updated information’s. Further, the college has conveniently designed and managed separate hostels for boys and girls for out-station pupils to live comfortably.

Facilities are found to provide various courses: 8 BE courses, 3 ME courses, and an MBA course. All programs offered are the full time ones, which enable students to gain wide and profound knowledge of the chosen specialties, as well as essential practical experience. 

Due to this situation, FMCET admission policy is very fair and schools admit candidates who have met the admission requirements and who are willing to enroll to their courses of choice. The process of admission for the undergraduate engineering programs includes normal factors like TNEA counselling process that admits students on the basis of their 10+2 marks and score in TANCET exam. In order to study MBA and other post graduate programs, the college has the TANCET scores as criteria for admission. Also, for some of the courses FMCET can consider scores from Common Engineering Entrance Test and Admission (CEETA-PG).
