The college got its name Florence College of Nursing, Irba established in the year 2004, is one of the top healthcare education institutions in Ranchi, Jharkhand. This affiliated college offers multi-programs in nursing and allied health professions and the programs have been accredited by the Indian Nursing Council (INC). This college occupies a constrained area of 3 acres and has an overall student enrolment of 245 and a teaching faculty of 32 members. Florence College of Nursing is dedicated for delivering quality education for healthcare professional and currently offers 9 courses at two degree levels, nursing and special healthcare related technologies.

The institute provides two full-time degree programs: Self financed B.Sc Nursing (4 years) with 60 seats and Post Basic B.Sc Nursing (2 years) with 40 seat. Also, the college has five diploma courses that take two-years including; Medical Lab Technology, Ophthalmic Technology, Operation Theatre Technology, ECG & EEG Technology and X-ray Technology. These diverse courses are evidenced in the college’s effort to produce comprehensive healthcare professionals to meet the dynamic nature of the profession.
