Gaurishankar (G.S.) Mahavidyalaya is a new college which situated in Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh, and this college was established in 2015. Located in the beautiful town of Gairi Kalan, Khunsapur, this college has been expanding its f purposes of eased transportation, growth has been gradually increasing in this region. The institute’s campus size is small measuring 3 acres, and this affords the students personalised learning environment. The college currently has 303 learners and 6 faculties which makes the student teacher ratio commendable facilitating targeted learning to learners. 

Gaurishankar (G.S.) Mahavidyalaya's ability to create a favourable learning environment is sufficient. Institute established in Jaunpur which is city famous for its history and culture and at the same time it gives exposure to modern era education knowledge. Though the name of the institution suggests a broad range of studies, Gaurishankar (G.S.) Mahavidyalaya has at present only one main course – the Bachelor of Arts (BA). This is a three-year full time course designed to prepare students with first degrees in humanities and social sciences. The BA programme is aimed at the cultivation of thinking skills, analysis and the overall perspective on society and culture which equip students to start a carrier or to continue education in a chosen subject.
