Gayatri Devi College of Education Baghpat is an affiliated college established in 2007 at Baraut, Uttar Pradesh. This is a NCTE-recognised institution that offers teacher education programmes. The college occupies a sufficient building area of 2.48 acres and has a total of 692 students and 20 faculty members. Gayatri Devi College of Education offers two full-time degree programmes, teacher education through the Bachelors of Education (B.Ed.) programme and for those interested in sports, Bachelors of Physical Education (B.P.Ed.). This college is well equipped with facilities that are supposed to make the learning session productive as well as develop the students’ personalities. 

The hostels, which are provided, including accommodation facilities separately for male and female students to those who need them, are comfortable. Beside the transportation facilities the college has provided for the commuters, like the students and staff of the college, a transport facility in order to facilitate for their conveyance to the college. The college offers two primary courses, a two-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) programme and a three-year Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed) programme. These are full courses that are to be taken on campus and they take full time for students who wish to pursue careers in education and physical education, respectively. The course in Bachelor of Education, more commonly known as B.ED., serves as the foundational offering of the college and has an approved strength of one hundred students, clearly emphasising its demand and the college’s capability to develop trainee teachers. 

The admission policy of Gayatri Devi College of Education envisions a merit-based admission policy formulated as per the norms of the state government/UT administration, and the affiliated university. Admission for the B.Ed. programme is based on the marks of the qualifying examination and an entrance test conducted by the college/university.
