GBR College of Education, Anaparthi was started in the year 2003 and is a boys and girls College primarily for developing future educators. Again the college is affiliated to Andhra University located in the state of Andhra Pradesh in East Godavari district and the college has a total area of 5.515 acres. These programs are recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and GBR College of Education offers two programs specifically in the field of education. The college enrols 74 students and employs 9 faculty members, which makes it have a close knit campus.

GBR College of Education, Anaparthi is affiliated with the college Adikavi Nannaya University, Rajahmundry.
