GM Momin Women's College, Thane was established in 1989. The main aim of the GM Momin Women's College is to empower women students, especially of the socially backward classes. To be in tune with the changing times, a B.Sc (IT) course was introduced in 2001. The Post Graduate Centre for MA programmes was established in 2004 and PhD programmes in 2008.
The courses offered by the GM Momin Women's College are BA, BMS, B.Com, B.Sc, MA, M.Com, M.Sc and PhD. Admission into UG and PG programmes are given based on merit of the last qualifying exam whereas PhD admissions are given based on the interview process. GM Momin Women's College also facilitates library, sports, medical, laboratories, IT Infrastructure and others that can be accessed by the students.

College Infrastructure
The infrastructure & facilities available in this college are amazing and outstanding. It contains all the facility. The wide campus enrich my knowledge. The labs and technical rooms are best here with LCD display, Projector screen and many more thing. The college is surrounded by the beautiful environment. The lift facility is also provided to students. The 4 floor building is amazing with many features embedded in it. Most important it's a women college which is great thing for a girl.
