About Gopabandhu Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya, Puri
Gopabandhu Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya Puri was established in 1949 and renamed in 1971. GAM Puri is one of the oldest and distinguished Ayurvedic Medical College of India. GAM Puri has been upgraded to the status of Model Institute by Government of India. GAM Puri was approved by the Government of Odisha, Health and Family Welfare Department. The college is spread across 10 acres of land.
GAM Puri offers various courses at the graduation, post-graduation and doctoral levels. Gopabandhu Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya Puri scholarships are offered to students to help them financially. GAM Puri scholarships are offered to students in the form of Loan stipend, Government Merit Scholarship and other scholarships. Loan stipend is awarded to the students by the L.S.F department, Govt. of Odisha. Whereas Government Merit Scholarship is awarded to each class every year and the amount offered is Rs 50 per month.
