Government Arts and Science College- Karwar located at Karwar, Karnataka was founded in 1961 and is a most popular college of Uttara Kannada. This affiliated college is located in 4.5 acres of land and has been imparting education to the community for more than 60 years. Being an NAAC accredited institution the college offers 15 distinct courses in six degree programmes with a total strength of 1407 students. This is an institution with 14 dedicated faculty members offering education in arts and sciences.
