The Government Arts Science and Commerce College, which commenced in 2007 and is an affiliate college in Raigarh, Chhattisgarh. The institution endorsed by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) hence promoting for quality institution. Located on a vast area of campus of 10 acres, it provides satisfactory number of undergraduate courses in arts, sciences and commerce streams. The college has a total strength of 561 students and faculties are 10, so the institute offers a suitable environment for the students. The institution teaches 4 courses in 3 academic degrees providing focus on diverse subject areas to meet the needs of students.

Government Arts Science and Commerce College houses various resource centres which are meant to complement the learning needs of the learners. The library having a total area of 400 sqm and is run under an advisory committee is a virtual source of knowledge. They include a reading carrel for silent individual reading, a readers’ corner for relaxed and leisurely reading and an information technology corner for use of electronic resources. The college has also kept well equipped department laboratories so that students can practice in their selected areas of the course. Extra curricula and for academic related functions the college boasts of an auditorium to host seminars and cultural activities. The institution has however done well to embrace the modern technology in learning by having appealing IT infrastructure.

The total approved intake of all these courses summed up to 360 seats that aim at admitting a large number of aspiring students every year.
