Government Autonomous Dhanwantri Ayurveda College and Hospital is an institution within Ujjain Madhya Pradesh that focuses on supplementary Ayurvedic knowledge and medicinal techniques. This autonomous college was founded in 1968 and has been one of the pioneers in Ayurvedic education for more than five decades. The college is recognised by the Central Council for Indian Medicine which assures that the standards of education are maintained. Including 14 members of faculty, the institution has considerable expertise and provides undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral-level courses in Ayurvedic medicine. This college has become a preferred destination for students who are interested in studying Ayurveda as the college is quite eager to preserve and develop this ancient wisdom.
Government Autonomous Dhanwantri Ayurveda College and Hospital disposed of several learning facilities that are meant to facilitate the learning process of its learners. Among these amenities, there is a library containing a book stock of about 10 500 monographs and journals’ bound volumes. In addition, it has a distinct section for postgraduate thesis, and it has a reading section that can comfortably accommodate one hundred and fifty students. Purposeful training is done through department laboratories that contain modern instruments as well as prevalent Ayurvedic instruments. There is also provision of an auditorium to accommodate fellowship gatherings and seminars making the academic environment on the campus active. The canteen provides food services for staff and students and health with first aid stations for the college population. It also has a good Info Tech centre, playgrounds, and a guest house for the visiting faculty and father’s and mother’s side of the students.
The Government Autonomous Dhanwantri Ayurveda College and Hospital currently provides six courses at three degree levels. Such are the full-time programme at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. The premier course offered by the College consists of the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery, also known as BAMS – the standard introductory course in Ayurvedic education. At the postgraduate level, the college also offers specialised MD in fields such as Kayachikitsa, Rachna Sharir, Dravyaguna.

The admission procedure in Government Autonomous Dhanwantri Ayurveda College and Hospital involves criterion based admission and is very systematic. The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test NEET has been incorporated for admissions into the BAMS programme. The eligibility criteria for admission to MD programmes are students must qualify the All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET) for postgraduate aspirants. The entrance for all the fields at the university level includes the possibility of getting a PhD. The exam is conducted by all universities separately for each specialization. These examinations also help in making sure that only the brains of the country get into the institution since only the best scores are admitted, hence the proper standards of the institution. It also has accommodation facilities for students of both genders and the total number of seats for accommodation is 65.

If we consider previous year cut off then you have chances to get gov. college but you will get only private college dalso as you not mentioned about the name of the college you want to take admission and as you know cut off changes every year
