Government College, Julana, was established in the year 2007 as an affiliated college in Julana, Haryana. This very young institution, spread over 16.1 acres of land, has been responding to the educational needs of the surrounding area since its very inception. The college presently imparts education through three undergraduate courses and has a total enrolment capacity of 682 students, who are mentored by 16 committed faculty members. 

The college has numerous facilities to benefit students and make their stay in the college campus worthwhile, facilitating academic pursuit. The sports infrastructure comprises a 200-meter track with field events such as long jump, high jump, discus throw, javelin throw, and shot put. The campus also has a special area for playing games like Kho-Kho and Kabaddi. Indoor games facilities, such as table tennis, chess, and carrom, are available on the campus. The college library acts as a knowledge center that provides students with ample academic resources. Much attention is also paid to practical learning, and for this, well-equipped, department-based laboratories are provided by the institution. The college has smart classrooms to adapt to the modern teaching style for better learning. There are facilities of both boys' and girls' hostels on campus that provide comfortable living to the students who need to avail themselves of these hostel facilities for pursuing their studies.

The Government College, Julana offers only three focused full-time undergraduate courses: BA, B.Sc. Physical Science and B.Com.
