Government Degree College, Razole (GDC Razole) is a popular institution hailing right from the heart of East Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh.  The administration reserves the right to admission based on simple procedures that are followed in light of general admission procedure as we come across in the government colleges of Andhra Pradesh. Normally, the college has a centralized admission procedure exclusively applicable to its affiliated university through the year. Among the other criteria are the marks obtained in the qualifying examination of 10+2 or its equivalent education scheme. With the criterion stretched to high-school standards, a commendable number qualify with a well gained footing for a better education at the institution. 

GDC Razole offers ten Undergraduate Courses under 3 Degree Programs (BA, B.Com, and B.Sc.), with a total intake of 346 students in the programs. Generally, admissions typically last the academic session of Andhra Pradesh universities, with applications beginning after the announcement of the 10+2 results.  Eligibility requirements for admissions into GDC Razole have one whose passed 10+2 with any subjects equivalent from a board recognized for such course of similar standard. Individual subject requirements of one's interest differ from each program. On a general note, goodwill would be the education and his/her good morality in his/her qualifying examinations. 

Application Process

The application process for Government Degree College, Razole follows these steps:

1. Admissions announcement: The commencement of the admission process announces the call for the college through multiple means like the institution's further official website and local media.

2. Online application: The applicant must fill in the Google forms available on the college website or on the university oversighting the issue.

3. Document submission: Afterwards, applicants are expected to submit all the necessary credentials, which mainly include:

• Grade Mark-sheets of 10 and 12 classes
• TCs
• Good Conduct certificates and signs of good moral character
• Castes
• Recent passport-size photographs

4. Compilation of the merit list: The institutes will release the merit list based on marks in the qualifying examination and any other guidelines for the program.

5. Counselling and seat allotment: The shortlisted candidates are called for counselling and can give preference for a particular course according to their merit rank and the availability of seat in that particular subject program.

6. Fee payment: The selected students must pay the prescribed admission fees to finally confirm their seat.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Sc: The B.Sc program is such that GDC Razole has four specializations with a total of 170 seats. The specializations are: Botany, Zoology, and Chemistry; Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science; Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry; Mathematics, Chemistry, and Computer Science. Admission is granted on the basis of the subject-mark obtained in the 10+2 examination.

BA: The BA course consists of three specializations with a total intake of 120 students. They are History, Economics, and Political Science; History, Economics, and Computer Applications; History, Political Science, and special Telugu. The selection is made out on the basis of marks scored in the relevant subjects tested in the qualifying examination.

B.Com: Only two specializations are available in B.Com at GDC Razole, with 100 places in all. The two fields are: general B.Com; B.com with Computer Applications. The admission account admits students if they score decently in commerce-related subjects in the 10+2 examination.
