Government Degree College, Yerragondapalem (GDC Yerragondapalem) is a college which was initially started in 2008. It is an affiliated college situated in Guntur district in Andhra Pradesh with the vision of extending a good educational experience to the students in that area. Located on a campus of 9.08 acres, GDC Yerragondapalem provides various UG courses to 242 registered students. The faculty includes 9 committed teachers to focus and guide every student individually. These include 5 courses in 3 different degree programmes to cater for the differing needs of the students. As part of its service delivery, GDC Yerragondapalem feels privileged to provide a number of amenities to improve and complement its students’ learning environment.

GDC Yerragondapalem boasts of having equipped a good library in the college and this give students an opportunity to find all books and other learning materials they may need. The institution provides amenities such as sports and a gym. The college is in possession of modern Information Technology facilities and Smart Class Teaching Aids so that the students are fully conversant with the technological learning tools. There is a total of 5 undergraduate full-time courses offered by the college and among those it offers only regular programmes. These courses include programmes in Arts, Commerce, and Science for students considering their area of passion or the careers they wish to pursue. With a total student intake capacity of 242, the college has remained loyal to its policy of providing its students the best learning climate by offering the highest student-teacher ratio. The courses are BA, B.Com, B.Com Computers, and so on.
