About Government Maharaja College, Chhatarpur
The Government Maharaja College is one of the premier colleges in Chhatarpur founded in 1949 which is situated in Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh. This affiliated college recognised by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) provides more than 41 undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Located in a massive land of 25.85 hectors, this college has total number of students 19024 including faculty members of 74. Here in the institution, eight degree programmes are offered with over 213 courses and a variety of specialisation in arts, commerce and sciences.
The Government Maharaja College has adequate and well developed facilities to facilitate the learning of the students that attend the college. It as modern and well equipped laboratories library with internet and reading rooms, boys and girls separate hostels with mess. The campus also contain a health centre with first aid amenities and other basic medical services are available at the district hospital nearby. There is well fenced playground for various games and toasters for gym and health conscious people besides there is also indoor badminton court. College has also computer lab and Wi-Fi connection and full coverage of the college in support of the role of technology in teaching and learning.
Government Maharaja College has prime importance recognition affiliated to Jiwaji University Gwalior and impart education in a multi-discipline manner providing 213 courses in . It offers full time undergraduate and post graduate courses, diploma and certificate programmes. Course offered includes Arts, Commerce, Science as well as Computer Hardware engineering and Tourism among others. The number of students intake differs with the specific course but some of the specialisation such as post graduate diploma in tourism and diploma in interior designing takes 40 and 50 students respectively.

I miss my college days

In my time(2020) infrastructure is not good. Water is not coming properly. Classrooms are not good. Library does not have many book. Very less student come daily. But in Chhatarpur only one college is present at that time that is my college.
My exprerience in this college is not so good.

College Infrastructure
Infrastructure of the college is ok. Facilities of the college is not so good. Equipment of the laboratories sometime not working. Sometimes classes are not clean. Libraries does not have all the books which students needed.
The worst college I ever seen.

The college infrastructure is very old. It's not maintained properly and the condition of it become very dull. The toilet are damaged and there is no toilet for Physically Challenged people who study in the college.
