Government Medical College Thiruvallur, is new in Tamil Nadu available from the academic year 2021 – 2022. This is an affiliated college situated in Perumbakkam Village, Thiruvallur which is under the deemed approval of NMC-National Medical Commission. The institute is located on a vast 60 acre land so that there is enough facility for all academic and co-curricular needs. It is a coeducational institution that means it welcomes all the students of different sexes creating a diverse atmosphere. Currently, the college has only one degree awards, which is the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), approved to have a yearly admission of one hundred students.

By virtue of a commitment to quality education, the Government Medical College  has ensured that it has mechanisation in placing a medical education programme.
