Government Pench Valley PG College, Parasia, was set up in 1965 and is therefore one of the oldest institutions of higher learning in Madhya Pradesh, India. This affiliated college, located in a vast 11.759 acre space, has been in the process of shaping the generations for more than five decades. This college has a total of 2,681 learners enrolled in its programmes and faculties of 26 college levels the college provides 15 courses in 7 degree programmes. The institution is privileged to offer quality education in the numerous disciplines of Arts, Commerce, and Science to meet the educational needs of students in the area.

The Government Pench Valley PG College, Parasia, is affiliated with Raja Shankar Shah University, Chhindwara. Established in 1965, it offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Arts, Science, and Commerce streams. For instance, the BA programme intake is the largest at 400, while B.Com has 250, and B.Sc programmes with different capacities. Each programme presented at the college, such as the M.Com and M.Sc Mathematics, has a 75 and 60 seat allowance, respectively.
