Government Pharmacy Institute, Gulzarbagh which is also known as GPI Gulzarbagh was established in the year 1958 by the Health Department, Government of Bihar. GPI Gulzarbagh courses are offered in a total of 4 programmes in the disciplines of Pharmacy at the undergraduate, postgraduate and diploma levels in the B.Pharma, D.Pharma and M.Pharma degree courses. GPI Gulzarbagh admissions to the said undergraduate and diploma courses are done through the entrance exam conducted by the BCECE Board, as for GPI Gulzarbagh PG admissions a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy is required.

GPI Gulzarbagh college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) as well. Government Pharmacy Institute Gulzarbagh college is affiliated to Aryabhatta Knowledge University, Patna (AKU Patna). GPI Gulzarbagh campus size is approximately 3 acres which surrounds all of its academic & administrative blocks, hostels, auditorium, laboratories, library and more of the GPI Gulzarbagh infrastructure. INFRASTRUCTURE IS NOT THAT BAD BUT THERE IS SHORTAGE IN EQUIPMENTS AND FACILITIES ARE OVERALL GOOD. CLASSROOMS ARE AVERAGE LABORATORIES ARE GOOD BUT ALL EQUIPMENTS ARE NOT AVAILABLE THERE. LIBRARY IS ALSO AVAILABLE THERE AND BOOKS ARE ALSO AVAILABLE. NO SPORT CENTRE. HOSTEL IS AVAILABLE FOR BOTH GIRLS AND BOYS AND HOSTEL IS TOO GOOD AND WELL MAINTAINED.

Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma) is a four- year full-time program that is the undergraduate level in pharmacy education course offered by Aryabhatta Knowledge University, Patna, and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).

So in order to be a part of the B.Pharmacy course you need to appear in the entrance exam conducted by BCECE board. And to be eligible you need to pass your 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology or equivalent combinations with a good score.

how get the admission in B pharma

Hello,

B.Pharma is one of the popular courses opted by students mostly from medical streams. I've enlisted some of the exams conducted by the private universities and these are:

NMIMS NPAT
UKSEE PHARMACY
MET PHARMACYY
TS EAMCET
AP EAMCET
CG PHT

Eligibility Criteria: A student must be 12th passed out with a minimum of 50% aggregate score and the age limit for the general category is 20 years and for reserved candidates, it extends to 22 years of age

The initial or starting salary of a B. Pharma graduate is around 2 LPA to 3.5 LPA which further increase with the opportunities and knowledge in the field.

You can get jobs in Private sectors and government sectors everything depends upon the hard work. Also in Clinical pharmacy and Medical Dispensaries.

The candidates should have scored 45 percent on aggregate in qualifying examination with English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology subjects.

Minimum Qualification Required: 10+2 or equivalent examination.

Minimum Marks Required (Aggregate): Minimum 50% in 10+2 in science subjects.

Age Limit: Age limit for B.Pharm. is 20 years for reserved category and 22 years for reserved category.
