Government Polytechnic College Alirajpur was started in the year 2010 which is an affiliated college situated at Alirajpur in the state of Madhya Pradesh. This is a technical institution enrolled by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), which offer diploma courses in engineering fields. Located in the H.S. School Campus adjacent to the bus stand the college has been imparting education in this region for more than a decade. The Government Polytechnic College, Alirajpur, an affiliated College of Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal, is today imparting only two three-year full-time diploma courses. The institute offers a course known as Diploma in Civil Engineering and a Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. Both programmes, have approved intake capacity of 54 and 54 for the two courses respectively making the total number of student to be admitted to the two courses 108. These programmes are focused at giving students the necessary theoretical and applied competencies in the subject areas in order to produce competent personnel in the engineering market.
