Government Polytechnic College at Kasaragod popularly known as GPC Kasaragod was started its journey in the year of 1988. Vocations itself is an affiliated college situated in Vadakkekara, Periye, Kerala and this college occupies a total area of 12.8 acres. AICTE recognized, GPC Kasaragod has been imparting diploma in engineering disciplines to its learners. The college has enrolled 788 students in various technical courses and has an essential faculty of 22 technical members. There are Five diploma courses being offered by the institute with focus on different branches of engineering to meet the door step of those who want to become technicians or engineers.

The present infrastructural facilities of Government Polytechnic College reflects modern amenities to support academic activities.
