Government Polytechnic College, Rajsamand (GPC Rajsamand) is one of the renowned polytechnic college was established in 2006. situated in Rajsamand Rajasthan this is an affiliated college recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Recognized by Rajasthan Technical University, Kota, GPC Rajsamand is one of the largest technological institutions spread over 40 acres of land which offers a wide range of diploma Technical Courses. The college has opted for a limited student intake in a year, where they take 157 students and employ only 7 faculty members. There are at present 6 diploma courses offered in GPC Rajsamand where the college continues to respond to the dynamics of the technical education stream.

In this regard, Government Polytechnic College, Rajsamand disposes of a wide range of facilities that can facilitate the learning process of students. State of art facility is centrally supplemented by a library, to nourish the knowledge seeker intellect. The school boasts of sophisticated laboratories which facilitates student practical lessons in various parts of the campus. To cope with the advanced and sophisticated contemporary world, GPC Rajsamand has made adequate arrangements for imparting attractive IT facility as well as the facility of Wi-Fi network at the campus level.  Also available and very much part of the provision of the college are sports amenities and a cultural/Seer’s hall for events such as cultural shows, seminars, etc. Since there are outstation students, there are two hostels for both sexes; male and female respectively. food facility is available on schools providing dietary requirements for learners and members of staff. The college also has a clinic with a first aid section to meet the health needs of the students’. In this respect, there is guest house in the campus that houses the temporary residents such as examiners, parents among others, which shows the institution’s hospitality.

Thus, GPC Rajsamand has in totality six full time diploma programmes out of which all are Regular Course only. The college has been authorised to intake 190 students in combination for all it’s programes, giving lot of opportunities for the budding technicians and engineers. Both diploma courses are carefully planned to take three years each to ensure adequate mastery of the selected area of specialisation.
