Government Polytechnic, Curchorem is a technical education institute located in Goa. The institute was established by the Government of Goa on 16th August 1996. The institute is affiliated to All Indian Council of Technical Education(AICTE). The institute  offers admissions in various diploma courses in the engineering field. The Govt. Polytechnic Curchorem offers diploma courses with various specialisations such as Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Each course has a duration of three years (six semesters). To get admission in the diploma courses offered by GP Curchorem, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria.

The Government Polytechnic Curchorem admissions are based on the merit in the qualifying exam. Eligible candidates can apply for the GP Curchorem diploma courses. To be eligible  for admission candidates need to pass SSC with a minimum of 50% in the total aggregate score. The institute also has a Training and Placement Cell that assists students in their career growth. The GP Curchorem Training & Placement Cell organises sessions where students can interact with the representatives of various companies. GP Curchorem facilities include library, gymkhana for sports and recreation, transport facilities, cafeteria, labs, and lockers for the students.

Government Polytechnic Curchorem is located at 64PF+8WQ, Vodlemol Cacora, Goa 403705. It is very close to the Curchorem Govt. Polytechnic. College bus stop, which is only a minute away by foot. This makes it convenient for students who travel by bus every day. Students who prefer to take the train can also reach the institute easily, as the Sanverdam Chuch train station is just 4.2 km away. The Goa International Airport is the nearest airport to the institute, but it is 46.3 km away. However, it provides a vital connection for students coming from afar.
