Government Polytechnic, Lalitpur was established in 1987. It is affiliated to the Board of Technical Education, Uttar Pradesh. GP Lalitpur is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). It offers a total of 3 courses in Commerce, Engineering and Architecture streams. The GP Lalitpur courses are offered by the Uttar Pradesh Board of Technical Education, Lucknow.
