The Government Polytechnic Nizamabad is a co-ed institute, affiliated with the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Hyderabad. As of today, GP Nizamabad offers eight full-time diploma engineering courses. Admissions to these courses are offered through the Telangana Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (TS POLYCET).
Regarding the infrastructure of GP Nizamabad, GP Nizamabad has a built-in area of 4620 Sq Mts. Apart from separate departments for each course, the college has 14 labs and workshops that are crucial in imparting practical training. The college has a hosel facility for students, a gym, garden, and auditorium.
