About Government Polytechnic, Zalaki

Government Polytechnic, Zalaki started in 2009/2010 is an affiliated College located in bijapur, District Karna taka. This AICTE approved male/female technical institution provides diploma programs in most of the engineering fields. The polytechnic is located in a congested area of 5.38 acres and at present has enrolment of a total 27 students and 15 faculties. Ranking data is still limited, but it is the institute’s goal to offer proper technical education for future engineers in the area.

Worthy of mention is more facility that the polytechnic hosts to support the learning experience among the students. A good reading room also known as library is archive of knowledge and essential tools for scholars. It boasts of fantastic information technology facilities to meet students’ needs and provide them with relevant technology for college use. Faculty wise laboratories enable the students to mix concepts with practical lessons, actual experiences in the laboratory setting . 

In order to achieve its goals of a balanced development of the students, the institute offers sports amenities for the development of the students’ body and Spirit. An auditorium is the space where multiple events take place, including seminars that contribute to the enlightenment of people. There is also a cafeteria with the purpose of eating and interaction of the students and the staff.

The Government Polytechnic at Zalaki offers four full-time diploma courses which are completed in three years. These courses are Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Diploma in Civil Engineering sectional for the various specialties of engineering and make student able to choose the specialty for the job. The total intake already approved across all courses is 180, which shows how capable the institute is of shaping the future technicians and engineers. In current we do not have specific data for today’s graduated students, however, our polytechnic’s goal and mission is to produce skilled professional human power for industrial andtechnological sectors.

The admission procedure of Government Polytechnic, Zalaki usually starts at the end of the SSLC (10th standard) examination year. The Department of Technical Education releases a notification to start the admission process. Diploma in Computer Science and in Engineering: Government Polytechnic, Zalaki is taking in students for a Computer Science and Engineering diploma in which they will accept an intake of 30 students. The admission process begins after the announcement of the SSLC results, and candidates can apply by the usual filling out of forms at government polytechnics or online for merit-based admissions.

Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering: The Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering program at Government Polytechnic, Zalaki has an approved intake of 30 students.
