What’s new at GTRTC Dumka college?

• The institute now offers admissions to several short term online courses which candidates can apply for through the GTRTC admissions portal.

Government Tool Room and Training Centre, Dumka which is often abbreviated as GTRTC Dumka was established in the year 2007 by the Department of Industries, Government of Jharkhand. GTRTC courses are offered in a total of one Diploma course in the disciplines of Engineering and Architecture at the diploma level in the Tool and Die Making programme. GTRTC Dumka admissions to the said diploma courses are done on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the 10th standard or SSC qualifying examination. According to the data provided by the institute, a total of 45 students were placed in the GTRTC placements drive 2022.

Some of the top recruiters that participate in the GTRTC Dumka placements drive are RamKrishna Forgings, Tata Motors, Havells, Tata Cummins, Brakes India and more. Government Tool Room and Training Centre is an affiliated college of State Board of Technical Education, Ranchi (SBTE Ranchi) and it has also been approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). GTRTC campus size is approximately 8 acres consisting of academic & administrative blocks, auditoriums, library, hostels, and more on the GTRTC infrastructure. There are hostels for students, IT infrastructure, laboratories, library and more offered as the GTRTC facilities.
