The Government Tool Room and Training Centre, Hubli (GTTC Hubli) is a technology aided technical institution founded in the year of 1998. Located in the KIADB Industrial Area of Rayapur – Dharwad Karnataka, this affiliated college has pioneered in offering a good standard of education in tool and manufacturing technology programmes. The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) accredited GTTC Hubli which presents two diploma programmes to train manufacturing sector professionals. The institute which currently has a team of only 4 members out of which all are faculty members intends to offer practical training along with sound theoretical exposure to its students.

The following is an outline of the facilities available at the GTTC Hubli campus which aim at improving effectiveness of training to its students. College library is an important facility which helps students in their educational process providing ample of resources. Modern laboratories facilitate students for giving practical knowledge by giving them exposure where they can implement their ideas practically. Especially commendable is the institute’s strong IT support that encapsulates the institute’s ability to operate lean and mean while keeping students updated with industry technology and tools.

The institute currently provides two diplomas that are full-time and take students four years to complete. This institution has been able to offer an enrolment of 60 students in Diploma in Tool and Die Making while on the other hand diploma in Precision Manufacturing programme has been organised offering an intake of 30 students each year.
