The Government Tool Room and Training Centre (GTTC), Kanakapura, was started in 2005 with technical degree and diploma courses.   • Diploma in Precision Manufacturing: This program is likewise offered at the GTTC Kanakapur, open for an approved intake of 60 students. The admission process is anticipated to follow that of the Tool and Die Making program and focus on the academic aptitude of eligible candidates in science and mathematics, along with their potential for mastering precision manufacturing techniques.

  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering and Electronics: This course is offered by the GTTC Kanakapura, too, with an approved intake of 60 students.
