Govindam TT College of Teacher Education, Bansur, Rajasthan was established in 2005, affiliated to PT. Govt.Srikaran Technological University Alwar, Rajasthan. This coastal institution for boys and girls is co-educational institution and is recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and offers teachers training programmes. Lalit Narayan Mithila University is a unit of privatised college located at the campus of 0.617 acre; Currently the college is affiliated to 392 students and 23 faculties.

Govindam TT College of Teacher Education has a number of amenities that provide beneficial conditions for the possible advancements of students’ learning process. These include; a well stocked, fully computerized library, which is a key facility in every institution of higher learning. It possesses all publication textbooks, reference materials and subscribes to national magazines and journals. There are more services which are also being offered at the library for instance photocopying services and book bank to the students.

At the moment, Govindam TT College only delivers a single course – Bachelors of Education (B. Ed). This full-time course is a two-year course and has a GMR intake of 200 students. B Ed programme plays an important role in providing educational knowledge and ability to the students who want to be a successful teacher. Though, the college is one of the few colleges that only offer this single degree it provides quality teacher training.

As for the admission policies the Govindam TT College follows the state government policies/UT administration and those of the affiliated university. The general admission criteria depend on marks scored in the entrance examination and the qualification exam. The college may also use other methods of staffing as provided by the policies in force.
