This is Guru Ramdas College of Education, Damoh which was set up in 2004 to take up the mantle of providing young minds and the future of the country. This co-educational institute lies in Jabalpur, Damoh, Madhya Pradesh and is sprawled over a two-acre area and have close proximity to the Government Polytechnic College. The college, approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), offers two full-time education programmes: B. Ed and D. El. Ed. Currently, the institute has a faculty of 8 members to ensure students gain quality education and to prepare trainers for future classrooms.

The college owns many entities with the purpose of complementing the learning process for the students. The idea of library is still highly valued because a good library acts as information center offering a large amount of educational material to students. Facilities such as departmental laboratories also exists within the confines of the campus in order to ensure practical aspect of the knowledge imparted is provide. As of now Guru Ramdas College of Education, Damoh has two broad programmes to cater the need of education field. Specifically, the B.Ed as well as the D.El.Ed programmes are full-fledged course in their respective curriculum, which is a two year course. This structured approach ensures that the college provides high quality education and nurtures qualified educators to fit in the challenging area of teaching.

Admission process of Guru Ramdas College of Education is to be fair and the policy of admissions based on merit. As for the B.Ed programme, all admissions are given based on marks scored on the qualifying examination and entrance test. The college also follows any other mode of selection as may be defined by the policy of the state government/Union Territory administration or the concerned university as per the norms of the University Grants Commission.
