Gurukul Polytechnic College was set up in 2010 at Chomu and has affiliation of Rajasthan University, Jaipur. This AICTE affiliated institute offers diploma courses in the field of engineering. Based on a 1.8-acres campus, the college currently offers its service to 58 students and a team of 13 faculty members. 

The Gurukul Polytechnic College accordingly remains fully aware of the need to ensure that students get a favourable environment to learn in. It features the provisions of facilities that would support the learning education process. This particular institution is advantageous because the library stands as the source of myriad data important to the student’s learning process. As for tutorial facilities, the college has functional departmental laboratories through which practices in the course of study are conducted. There are three full time Diploma programmes offered in Gurukul Polytechnic College Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering disciplines. The college, in total, has an approved intake of 180 students and each course offer takes 60 students. This is a relatively small cohort of students which afford close contact between the faculty and the learners as well as personalized learning environment. This is because the diploma programmes are focused on course content that provides the students with theory and practice, which will enable them attain success within the fields of engineering they will be practising.
