The GVR and S College of Engineering and Technology, Guntur popularly known as GVR&S Guntur, it is one of the most talked-about academic institutions in the city of Guntur in Andhra Pradesh. This affiliated college was established in the year 2007. The institution has grown with the motto of shaping young minds for the past decade. The college is built over 10.8 acres, offering various streams in engineering and management. The Institute is approved by the AICTE, New Delhi, thus assuring one of quality education and adherence to national standards. It has an enrolment of 1,147 students and a total number of 99 faculty members to accord ample opportunities for personal attention and academic growth.

Facilities within the institute are diverse and attempt to aid learning and the all-round development of learners. The library forms part of the academic resources in GVR&S Guntur, with more than 4,000 volumes of books and a subscription to a host of e-journals, making it a fledged repository of knowledge. GVR&S Guntur offers 16 courses at four different levels of degree with highly divergent careers. Specialisations in the B. Tech programme are Computer Science and Engineering with Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. The MBA programme completes the other offerings at the postgraduate level. All courses are full-time and provide intensive learning to the students. The total sanctioned intake for all programmes has been kept at 240 students. The admission process followed at GVR&S, Guntur, is transparent and merit-based. Admission to the B.Tech programme is divided into two categories. Category – A: The seats are filled through the Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET) conducted by the state government. Category-B (30% of total seats): will be filled by the management in a transparent process advertised in newspapers. Admission to the MBA course will be based on the merit secured in the Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test. The college accepts scores for some programmes from the Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test. These tests therefore allow meritorious candidates throughout the state to standardise in nature and seek higher education at GVR&S Guntur.
