Haladhar Mahato Teacher's Training Institute is situated in Purulia, West Bengal. It is a co-ed institution established in the year 2012. The compact 5.02-acre campus approved by the National Council for Teacher Education with an enrolment of 146 students with a faculty strength of 15, maintaining hence a very healthy student-teacher ratio that assures personal attention and quality education. 

Institute provide the students with every kind of facility for the improvement in the process of learning. The well-stocked library is the hub of knowledge that makes the student accessible to a range of learning materials. To add to it, if one is more of a tech head, then very good IT infrastructure is available in the college. There are also departmental laboratories that provide experience, which is a very important component in a teacher's training. It is a two-year full-time course aimed at empowering students in the teaching art.
