The college spans over a small area of approximately 5.35 acres which provides a concentrated education preparing education professionals. With 10 dedicated professional faculties HDPY College of Education is focusing on its students and designed a conducive environment for learning and growth to produce professional educators.

Students can choose to do this course on a full-time basis, and it takes two years to complete with the main purpose of producing teaching professionals. For this programme, Egerton University has an approved capacity of taking fifty students for this programme which is ideal because it enhances cohort and student-interaction.
