Primary Teachers Training Institute: Hetampur Rajbati is the brainchild of Birbhum, West Bengal, which is quite different from other education institutions in the form of a standalone institute preparing educators of the future. The concept of this co-educational school was set in the year 2009 in an aim of setting a standard of excellence in the provision of educational services to the primary school-going children. Approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), the institute offers two full-time courses: D.El.Ed offered by TMC under D.D.C & O.U. through distance education mode with an enrolment capacity of 200 seats and now B.Ed with an intake of 100. The faculty has 10 experienced educators who support the institute’s student-teacher ratio and provide quality education.

This is a major institute of technology and comprises facilities that purpose to improve the learning condition of the students. Among these is a library containing approximately 1,500 items ideal for utilising a lot of activity-based and child-centred teaching-learning activities. An auditorium supports events and seminars and boosts the learning culture in an educational institution. Hetampur Rajbati Primary Teachers Training Institute also has student welfare with facilities for the health centre, including first aid. As for the HT side, Hetampur Rajbati Primary Teachers Training Institute has developed two primary courses. The duration of The course is two academic years of full-time study. The D.El.Ed programme which is for those who want to be primary school teachers, has an admission capacity of 100 students. The B.Ed course that takes one academic year to complete and prepares students to teach in the secondary schools intakes fifty students only.

For D.El.Ed programme admissions, the candidate has to produce a marks card of the qualifying examination and entrance test as per the policies of the state government.
