    About HM Mahavidyalaya, Mau

    HM Mahavidyalaya, Mau, established in 2008 an affiliated college with the help of which aims at providing high-quality education to all the students. The location is Peewatal, Mau, Uttar Pradesh. NCTE recognises this institution and delivers undergraduate and postgraduate education with a wide contingent of programmes. The college takes a total of 1,224 students with an equal opportunity of co-education for interested learners.

    HM Mahavidyalaya is affiliated with VBSPU Jaunpur. HM Mahavidyalaya has a series of necessities to improve the student’s experience in their learning process. The college houses a modern library with junior and senior books and references, reasonably apart from a strain-free reading hall. The practice facilities arts; for practical learning, however; departmental laboratories for students who take science-related courses are possible. It also focuses on physical development since the college plays a central role in offering play equipment like the playground as well as sports equipment. To introduce the students to the advanced generation trends of learning, HM Mahavidyalaya has also developed IT facilities for computer education to make the learners technically sound. Further, there are guest houses and a waiting hall, especially for faculty visitors, the students’ families and relatives, and for guests in general, to feel comfortable at the campus. 

    HM Mahavidyalaya total offers 17 courses, out of which some are undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Academic programmes for which Two Brothers Polytechnic College offers full-time courses include rich programme specialities to satisfy the intentions of different learners. In the undergraduate level, the courses offered in a large number are BA 695, B.Sc Maths group 173, B.Sc Bio group 173 and B.Com. The postgraduate programmes include MA courses in Geography, Home Science, Hindi, Sanskrit, Urdu and Sociology to which 40 students are admitted each year. The college also harbours M.Sc programmes in Chemistry, Physics, Botany, Mathematics and Zoology. Further, there are professional courses offered like B.ED & D.El.Ed both in 50 seats each, imparting education to make teachers.

    The admission procedure followed by this아HM Mahavidyalaya is that the procedure is slightly different for different courses. For general undergraduate programmes like BA, B.Sc, and B.Com the admission criteria are the merit of the qualifying examination. But in the case of professional courses like B.ED and D.El.Ed, the system was more organised. These programmes take into consideration scores in the qualifying examination and may in addition take an entrance examination or other tests as may be set by the policies of the state and or the university.
