Manjugopal Bhattacharya Award, Benoy Krishna Modak Award and Bholanath Basu Award are provided to the highest scorers of English Honors, Mathematics Honors and Chemistry Honors respectively in the Part III Honors Final Examination.
Nilmoni Mukherjee Trust Fund is awarded to the highest scorer of Economics Honors on the basis of Part I, Part II and Part III combined results. Rani Katyayani Trust Fund offers an award to the highest scorer of the Final Year internal examination for each honor subject. I had three best years of my life here.
College Infrastructure
1. Great location - by the Ganges, campus with lots of trees inside it. 2. Connectivity - Connected by major railway station, Chinsurah. 3. Fees - Being a fully owned govt college, fees are very negligible. 4. Facilities and Equipments - All necessary things are present in the labs. Smart board and WIFI would add just the right touch. 5. Hostel - I didn’t stay in hostel. So can’t really comment about it.
