IBSAR Institute of Management Studies, an affiliated college of IBSAR Trust has been pioneering the development of future leaders since 2008 in a small campus of 2.85 acres. It offers two speciality programmes in management and computer applications, with more focus on quality education. The faculty strength stands at 12 dedicated professionals guiding and grooming a very small, close-knit student body with just 4 enrolments. It would offer an intimate learning environment with personal attention and intensive skill development in its two postgraduate programmes: Master of Management Studies and Master of Computer Applications.

The campus provides a 'lunch room' to the students that helps them to chill out, relax, and socialise. Enriching the academic ambience, the auditorium is always busy with events and seminars. To increase the practical learning level, laboratories have been well facilitated- especially for the MCA students. The academic programmes at IBSAR have been designed and modified according to the changing needs of the job market. At present, the institute provides two full-time postgraduate programmes, viz., Master of Management Studies (MMS) and Master of Computer Applications (MCA). The duration of the two-year MMS programme is for managerial talent development, while that of the three-year MCA programme is for more advanced computer applications and software development. These programmes are pursued in full-time mode for an immersive study experience. IBSAR is also pretty competitive and entrance monitored by State Level Entrance Examinations.

The Admission to the MCA programme is based on the Maharashtra MCA Common Entrance Test or MAH MCA CET. The Admission to the MMS programme is also based on a similar pattern: the admissions are granted through MAH-CET-MMS organised by DTE Maharashtra. This Institute adheres to the policy of reservations as outlined by the Government of Maharashtra to ensure diversity in the student population. The Management quota and vacant institutional seats are considered and admitted with the guidelines issued by DTE Maharashtra, thus offering multiple opportunities for meritorious candidates gaining admission.
