IILS Cooch Behar

The Indian Institute of Legal Studies (IILS) Cooch Behar was established in the year of 2010 and this law college has evolved into a unique system of imparting legal education in the North Bengal region and also an emerging education and research centre in the SAARC region. IILS Cooch Behar is acknowledged as one of the best law colleges in the country. 

IILS Cooch Behar has intensive excellence and classroom deliberations by the IILS faculty who are having education from the best National and International Universities. IILS promotes holistic studies in the field of law by providing fieldwork, short-term IILS Cooch Behar courses, and experiential learning to regular IILS UG courses. Postgraduate courses at IILS and the research centre are functional into doctrinal courses. Apart from regular Law courses academic the institution also organized various symposiums, moot courts and educational seminars with the motive of enhancing the knowledge and awareness of students. 

IILS Cooch Behar offers two courses namely, 5 year BA/BBA/B.COM.LL.B(H) Course and an LL.B 3 Year Course. Interested candidates can get IILS admission in the offered courses by satisfying the eligibility criteria. In order to mould budding professionals, IILS provides hi-tech classrooms with PowerPoint and visual-based orientations. The classroom at IILS is quite spacious and can accommodate 60 students in each class as per the Bar Council guidelines. The state of art infrastructure of the IILS Cooch Behar is well complimented with all the modern facilities and technology.

IILS Cooch Behar's address is 999X+WFM, Jajna Narayanerkuthi, West Bengal 736165. The nearest airport to IILS is Cooch Behar Airport which is only 12.6 km away from IILS college campus. New Cooch Behar railway station is the nearest station to the college campus. The distance between the railway station and to IILS campus is approximately 9.8 km. Cab and bus facility is available from the airport and railway station.
