About Indira Gandhi Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Kaithal
Indira Gandhi Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Kaithal is a NAAC-accredited private college established in 1970. IGMMV is a girl's college affiliated with the University of Kurukshetra. The college aims to provide high-quality education to girls from rural and backward areas of Haryana. National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) awarded a ‘B’ grade to the IGMMV College in 2003. To provide academic excellence, IGMMV scholarship to deserving students is provided by the college under various schemes of the Government of India and Government of Haryana. There are no such IGMMV entrance examinations for enrolment in the college. Merit in the respective required education will be the base of IGMMV admission.
IGMMV courses include 8 degrees with various specialisations. Courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels are offered by the college. Every course will have different IGMMV eligibility criteria and fee structures for enrolment. More than 2700 students are pursuing their degrees at the IGMMV campus that spreads over 5 acres. Premium voluntary organisations like NCC and NSS are also available at the campus for students who are interested in social and military services. Other IGMMV facilities include a library, sports department, well-equipped labs, hostels, playground, and whatnot.

Candidates can apply for IGMMV admission by filling out a simple application form and then seats will be allocated on the basis of merit. IGMMV UG Admission Procedure
Before enrolling, candidates need to meet the specified eligibility criteria.

MA, MSc, MCom, and PGDCA are offered as IGMMV PG courses each having a fixed number of seats. PGDCA have 1 year duration to complete whereas others are 2 years.

IGMMV PG Admission Procedure
Interested students must satisfy the designated eligibility requirements prior to enroling.
Applicants have to submit an application form to apply for admission.
Seat allocation will depend on the marks earned in the undergraduate degree.

Failure to pay the course fees will result in the cancellation of the allocated seat.

A photocopy of the certificate on the basis of which the student is seeking weightage.
In case of a gap after 10+2 or graduation, the candidate has to furnish the affidavit stating what he/she did during the gap.
Note: In case a Voter ID Card is not issued, the candidate has to fill out form No. 6 available in the office, and deposit the same in the library along with a copy of the ration card, residence proof, age proof, and Voter ID of any Member of his/her family. Moreover, failure to document submission to the college will result in the cancellation of seats.
