INS Shivaji Centre of Marine Engineering Technology CMET Pune has a pride of place as one of the premier institutions and was established in 1987. This affiliated college is situated in Lonavala, Maharashtra and is solely focused to impart marine engineering education. AICTE approved INS Shivaji CMET offers the following specialised diploma courses in Marine Engineering. The institute has 25 members in faculty and so it provides quality education and focuses on one to one interaction with students. Due to its emphasis on professional and technical education and training, INS Shivaji CMET constantly helps to create the next generation of marine engineering professionals in India. 

INS Shivaji Centre of Marine Engineering Technology is equipped with diverse amenities that directly enhance students’ • Learning activities and personal development. It plays the role of a reference centre , providing plenty of information to students of marine engineering. Science laboratories give experiences that can be used to apply the theories learnt in class . Thus, proper equipped laboratories enable the practice of the principles learnt in class. INS Shivaji CMET is currently running three diploma courses, each of a period of three years. These courses aims at developing real knowledge and skills in Diploma in Marine Engineering and other related disciplines. It is utilised to accommodate 180 students in all courses offered at the institute with 60 students for each course. This smaller amount guarantees student attention and provision of quality education to any learner who intends to join the institution.
