Introduction

Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (IPS), Balasore was established in the year 2005 by the Mothers Educational & Charitable Trust. The IPS Balasore College is affiliated to the Odisha State Board of Pharmacy (OSBP), Bhubaneswar and approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi. The institute is also recognized by the Health & Family Welfare Department, Government of Odisha. The institute offers two courses, one in UG and one in Diploma. The IPS Balasore courses include a Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharma) and a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharma). The duration of the IPS Balasore UG course is 4 years while for the diploma course is 2 years.

The minimum eligibility criteria for IPS Balasore admission is candidates should have passed 10+2 Science (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) or its equivalent from a recognized institute/board. For IPS Balasore admission process, candidates can reach out to the institute and get the application form, fill and submit it with required documents. The institute offers many facilities to the students. IPS institute facilities include experienced faculties, well equipped laboratories, AC classrooms, bus facility, library, separate hostel for boys and girls and many more facilities. 

The institute has also a separate placement cell. The IPS Balasore placement cell has tie-ups with many multinational companies and Indian pharmaceutical companies. During the IPS Balasore placement drive the companies visit the campus to hire students as their employees.
