The PharmD (Post-Baccalaureate) program is a three-year, full-time professional course approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). Designed for B.Pharm graduates, the program integrates advanced clinical and pharmaceutical sciences with hands-on patient care experience to prepare students for dynamic roles in healthcare and pharmacy practice.

PharmD (Post-Baccalaureate) is a three-year, full-time professional course approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). Designed for B.Pharm graduates, the program integrates advanced clinical and pharmaceutical sciences with hands-on patient care experience to prepare students for dynamic roles in healthcare and pharmacy practice. The period of three years duration is divided into two phases;
Phase I - 2 years of academic coursework covering clinical pharmacy, pharmacotherapeutics, pharmacokinetics, and healthcare systems along with practical training and a research project.
Phase II - 1 year of compulsory internship training in a clinical setting, ensuring practical exposure and application of theoretical knowledge.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for admission into the PharmD (Post-Baccalaureate) program, candidates must meet the following criteria :

Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) degree from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act. Note: Final-year B.Pharm students awaiting results may also apply provisionally.

Admission Details

IPNU will announce the admission process to be held at IPNU based upon merit list and Candidates will be informed by email and/or website notification.
Allotment of seats shall be made on the basis of merit and availability of seats.
In case the seats remain vacant after completion of first round of admission process, such vacant seats will be displayed on official website and next admission round may be conducted.
