One of the well-known colleges of physical education, Ishwar Deshmukh College of Physical Education, Nagpur, was instituted in the year 1960. This co-educational college, established at Hanuman Nagar, Nagpur, Maharashtra, is affiliated to the local university, also approved by NCTE. There are 10 acres of area in the campus which provides an appropriate setting for studies of Physical Education. Admission procedure at Ishwar Deshmukh College of Physical Education shall purely be on merit basis and considering the marks obtained in entrance examination and/or qualifying examination. The College will follow admission policy of the State Government of Maharashtra and parent university. Admission to B.P.Ed. M.P.ED. will purely be through selection process either with or without an entrance examination or any other criteria as prevalent from time to time.
