Jamalpur Mahavidyalaya is one of the affiliated colleges of Burdwan, established in 2009. It has a campus area of 2.625 acres. The total number of student enrolment in this institution is 805 students for the diversification of academic environment. Till date, this college provides courses for 2 degree programmes. Besides other services, the primary service of the institute is undergraduate studies in the humanities. The institute has faculties of dedicated 7 educators who facilitate on-campus education as well as intensive practice with direct attention to students.

Jamalpur Mahavidyalaya has a number of facilities meant to help improve the learning process of the students.
